HP identified an entire industry dedicated to refilling laser printer toner cartridges. We took this messy, hazardous process and invented an all new user friendly toner refill experience that was reliable, clean, and most of all safe. As a result this program became an influential piece to defining HP’s all new printer design language.

After months and dozens of tests we understood the toner’s distinct properties, it’s surprising limitations, and how to manipulate it. This guided the invention of several toner dispensers that were tested with potential customers, refined, and tested again. The result is a revolutionary experience for the laser printer market.
Fuel Gauge
A first of its kind for Laser Printers. Unlike the liquid or ink refill experience, refilling toner is a less accurate process that needs time to be calculated and measured. Discrete bars represent the number of complete refill cartridges that can be added at a time.

Historically refilling toner has been a makeshift, messy process. HP Neverstop makes it clean, secure and simple enough for the average customer.
